Yarden Yonatan Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2013
Yarden Cabernet Sauvignon Yonatan Vineyard was produced entirely from grapes grown in the Yonatan Vineyard in the central Golan Heights, at elevations from 600 meters to 700 meters above sea level. Yonatan has proven itself an excellent site for Cabernet since its first planting in 1978.
Style: The wine layers ripe cherry, blackberry, and black currant fruit characters with hints of dark chocolate, fertile earth, aromatic oak, and a touch of herb. The body combines richness with elegance. Aging for 18 months in French oak barrels adds to its overall complexity best served at 60-65 F.
