Tzora Vineyards Shoresh 2020
The grapes are sourced from small blocks of rocky soil from our estate-grown Shoresh Vineyard. On this shallow and poor soil, the vines strive for nutrition, which results in concentrated grapes with an array of flavors. This is a rich blend of Syrah (35%), Merlot (30%), Cabernet Sauvignon (25%), and Petit Verdot (10%) showing flavors of dark fruit and spices. The wine shows a beautiful and harmonious texture.
Shoresh was bottled after an aging period of 14 months in French oak barrels. The wine can be enjoyed now and will continue to improve in the bottle for many years to come.
Shoresh is a result of a joint work with our consultant, Mr. Jean-Claude Berrouet, the preceding Technical Director of Chateau Pétrus.
