The 2018 Gamla Red Blend presents attractive fruit notes of ripe cherries and plums intermingled with intriguing characters of spice flower tobacco cocoa earth orange peel and herbs. Full-bodied this complex and concentrated wine is ripe yet fresh.
Enjoyable upon release the wine should improve in the bottle in the coming years and stay in good drinking condition for some ten years from vintage. Try serving the wine with a juicy roast beef braised lamb shanks with rosemary or thin-crust garden vegetable pizza.
