Carmel Appellation Cabernet Sauvignon/Shiraz
For the past 135 years we have been constantly learning about the soil climate and wine production in the diverse growing regions of Israel. this expertise manifests itself in the appellation series which represents the best of Israel's vineyards. the distinctive character of each wine derives from varieties grown in selected vineyards in the upper Galilee Carmel mountains and Judean hills. each wine displays images of indigenous animals from Israel's wildlife.
This wine was produced from Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz grapes from the Upper Galilee. Following fermentation and extended maceration with its skins, the wine was aged for 12 months in oak barrels.
