Alexander the Great Grand Reserve Red

This wine is at the cutting edge of the Alexander Winery made from the best of the most excellent vines of the winery. The vineyards are situated in Kfar Shammai and Kerem Ben Zimra in the Upper Galilee the oldest vineyards in Israel - tended from dawn to dusk by vine-growers dedicated to their work and the sancity of the vineyard. Advanced agro-technology a strict watering regime and thinning of the grapes produce excellent concentrated and rich fruit. The wine is matured in 70% French and 30% American oak barrels for a period of 24 months and an additional 24 months in new barrels. The outcome is an exceptional unique and powerful wine with layers of aroma evolving over time. The wine can mature in the bottle for many years
