Alexander the Great Cabernet Sauvignon 2012
The flagship series of Alexander Winery is alexander the Great the first wine in the series is the Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine is produced from the winery's finest vineyards grapes. Regal Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are grown in the Kerem Ben Zimra. The 35 year old vineyards produce 500 kilo per dunam. Manual hrvesting takes place in the middle of the night. In a special and festive atmosphere the grapes are harvested with the help of those beloved by the Winery coming from all over the country and the world for this purpose. The grapes go through a stringent sorting before crushing and treatment. The wine is matured in 60% French and 40% American wood barrels for a period of 36 months. The outcome is great rich full bodied and flawless. Wine with depth and many layers. An intricate pleasurable wine with a maturing ability for many years
