Aberlour A'bunadh Alba
To Mature the whisky, we use barrels made of American oak known as 'Quercus Alba'. We carefully fill them with scotch whisky for the first time. As the years pass, these casks infuse their sweet flavors into a 'Bunadh Alba.
A'bunadh means 'The original in Gaelic because we make every bottle as we would have done 100 years ago: in batches, with no chill-filtering.
Color: Gold
Nose: Sweet, with a pronounced aroma of ripe red apples along with honey, vanilla and a hint of cinnamon
Palate: Sweet, with a creamy, oily texture. As the whisky opens up elements of citrus zest, cinnamon, and dried apple emerge
Finish: Long, sweet, with a pronounced pepperiness
