Aberfeldy 15 Years french Red Wine Casks Finish

For this limited edition bottling I chose to finish a 15-year-old Aberfeldy Single Malt Scotch Whisky in Red Wine casks from Pomerol in Bordeaux.
I wanted to bring together these two rich characters as I knew that they would get on like old friends.
Our Golden Dram is recognized for its wonderfully rich and honeyed flavor. Finishing in the Pomerol casks entwines a blush of ripe cherries and soft hints of apricots that wrap around the signature honey and creamy vanilla notes of the Aberfeldy to form an elegant, fruity, and aromatic whisky. This little gem should be savored and shared in good company.
