Region: The higher elevations of the Upper Galilee, the northern part of
the Galilee viticultural area.
Varieties: 74% Viognier, 26% Chardonnay.
Style: Characters of flowers, peach, green apple, pear and tropical
fruit with aromas of vanilla, honey and toasted oak. Golden in
color, the wine has a buttery texture and a gentle and balanced
acidity. A full-bodied wine with a pleasurable finish.
Technical Data: The wine fermented in new French oak barrels, and aged on
yeast lees for nine months.
Harvest: The growing season that preceded the 2010 harvest began with
a January that was warmer than usual, a winter characterized
by a relatively low level of precipitation, and a spring that
started two to three weeks earlier than normal. As a result of
early budbreak, the entire season moved up, with harvest
starting two weeks earlier than usual. July and August were
particularly hot, which accelerated the ripening process and led
to the creation of fruity wines with exceptional flavor
